Year 7 and 8 students along with their Modern Foreign Language teachers recently visited Paris to experience French culture and discover more about the language.
On the their first day, students headed to the Louvre museum and Notre Dame Cathedral followed by a visit to the Pont des Arts, or as its more commonly known – the love lock bridge, where staff and students placed their very own North Liverpool Academy padlock.
Following a visit to the Eiffel Tower and Stade de France the group headed to Disneyland Paris where they watched a spectacular fireworks display as well as the world famous Disney parade.
I had an extremely enjoyable experience in Paris with the students over Easter. I was so impressed with their excellent behaviour and their willingness to test out their French. For me the highlight of the trip was the fireworks display in Disney. I can’t wait for next year!
