For the second year running, author Jonathan Meres presented his bestselling book tour at North Liverpool Academy for over 400 primary school students.
The famous author spent the day engaging students in book workshops which included Jonathan’s award winning and hilarious brand of comedy, a book reading of his latest Norm of the North book, finishing off with acoustic performances.
The visit is part of North Liverpool Academy’s ambition to encourage an ongoing love of reading amongst young people in Liverpool.
All visiting pupils were presented with a book from The World of Norm series.
Vice Principal, Caroline Lane said: “The day was a fantastic success; the children enjoyed Jonathan’s humorous performance and left the sessions really enthusiastic about reading. Thank you to all the primary schools who attended and everyone who helped out on the day”.
