On 20th December, North Liverpool Academy welcomed residents from nursing and care homes in the local area for the annual Community Christmas Dinner.
After a warm welcome from Mr Westerdale, approximately 90 guests were wowed by the talents of the North Liverpool Academy choir while they sampled some fabulous festive fayre! Members of North Liverpool Academy’s Sixth Form were on-hand as waiting for staff, expertly delivering food and drinks to our eager visitors who enjoyed a full (complete with pigs in blankets,) delicious, Christmas dinner that had been prepared by Mr Langley and his kitchen team. Numerous guests remarked that the roast potatoes were ‘the best they’d had!’
Following their dessert of Christmas Pudding, the visitors were treated to a raucous game of bingo expertly called by Liam, one of our Y11 students.
A fabulous time was had by all!
