The art dept Year 7 students helped St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School, Old Swan create a diversity tree for diversity week.
The tree was constructed by recycling paper into paper straws, and paper mache top layer. A final coat of collage and acrylic helped achieve an authentic tree texture.
The tree now sits pride of place at St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School and the students gather around it for story time.
Our year 7 students did a wonderful job and we are so proud of them for taking part and embracing this project.
