This week, Year 12 and 13 Business and Economic students completed an employability workshop with KMPG to support their future career choices. Jennifer Spencer – a KMPG employee on the graduate programme, Chloe Douglas a school leaver entry KPMG employee and Christopher Lofthouse also on the KMPG graduate programme delivered the session as part of our National Careers Week enrichment activities. The session gave students an insight into KPMG but also the changing recruitment processes most large employers are now choosing to use.
On line assessments, interactive CV’S and mock interviews were demonstrated which provided a crucial understanding of the demands and requirements for higher apprenticeship programmes and graduate entry professions. Student Lewis said “The KPMG School Leaver Programme is excellent for people who don’t want to pay for university tuition fees” Fellow student Helena said “I found the examples of the on-line assessments used by employers really useful” A big thank you to KPMG for coming into school to present this opportunity to our students.
