Students were ecstatic with their results this year with many of them going off to start university courses, apprenticeships and jobs. Three students also applied and received offers for highly competitive nursing courses. All three have now been successful in gaining their places.
Applied learning students performed really well, with a large percentage of cohorts achieving D*D* across a range subjects including Health, Childcare, Performing Arts and the ICT double award.
100% of university applicants have been offered places at university and will be continuing their education in September. A few highlights from the day are:
- Ibrahim received A*BB in Maths, Physics and Further Maths and will be studying Maths at the University of Liverpool.
- Zhanan achieved A*AB in Maths, Chemistry and Physics and will be heading to the University of Liverpool to study Electrical Engineering and Electronics.
- Megan got A*AB in Psychology, Geography, EPQ and will be doing Midwifery at the University of Manchester.
- Abiramy achieved AAA in Business, Economics and Maths and will be going to study Actuarial Mathematics at the University of Leicester.
- Ryan got ABB in Film, English Literature and Media and will be studying Film and Media Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University.
- Rachel will be studying Economics at Manchester Metropolitan University after she got ABB in Economics, Psychology, and Business.
