Last night the Academy celebrated its second Open Evening of the 2015 application cycle. Students considering their Secondary School choices for Year 7 in September 2016 visited the school to find out more about the wonderful things we have to offer.
Upon arrival at the school guests were greeted with the best and brightest of everything the Academy has to offer. The Refectory was filled with stalls giving details on all curriculum subjects, as well as Careers, our iLead programme and our school Governors. Following this guests were then invited into the Drama Theatre to hear a talk from our Principal on the opportunities available to their child upon joining us.
Throughout the evening there were performances from our Year 9 GCSE Dance Group, Shokotan Karate Champion, Year 12 student Kenita gave a display of the Leadership sessions she runs with younger students in the school and parents and students took part in the most explosive (literally) and fact-filled Science Show we’ve held to date.
It was a treat to see so many engaged and excited faces walking round the school, most leaving with tasters from our Food Technology department or keyrings made in our Physics Photobooth.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, and our dedicated staff for putting on such a wonderful evening. All information on how to complete an application can be found here – https://northliverpoolacademy.co.uk/join-us/how-to-apply/
