A busy week here at NLA after the half-term break!
Thanks to LFC’s Gini Wijnaldum and LFC Red Neighbours, some lucky NLA students were treated to tickets to the Liverpool vs West Ham game. Cheers Gini!
This week also saw NLA students take part in a number of science activities. A team from NLA won two of the individual challenges – the speed challenge and teamwork challenge – at Tomorrows Engineers Robotics Challenge! Well done team!
We were also grateful to host the BAE Systems Roadshow who showed a hugely informative and interesting Royal Navy and Airforce STEM presentation on Energy. Our year 8 loved it!
NLA students also took part in the Matrix Challenge 2020 on behalf of the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit and Merseyside police Digital PCSO. Well done to everyone taking part!
And finally, a big thank you to the Liverpool Harmonise for their lovely Valentines Day donuts and card.
