Y12 BTEC Business students win at NextGen fest!

We have just returned from the International Business Festival with the Y12 BTEC students.  During the day they had to design, prepare and undertake a business pitch for a new shampoo.  The competition consisted of 5 teams, with their team being the youngest.  Our students won the pitch with the judge stating it was engaging, utilised a variety of key business terms such as market research, target market and USP, and made the judge want to purchase the new shampoo.  They noted that they worked well as a team and were very impressed with Kieron Bowie ‘who came out of his shell’.

The organisers stated that they were a credit to us as teachers and the school, and were extremely complimentary about the school.

They also got to meet Jamie Carragher who congratulated them as winners.
