will be celebrating the festive period in style. Have a read below at what we are planning this year
What a wonderful week it has been here at North Liverpool Academy. From a Children in Need first to winning awards for our use of assessment, and our fantastic community event, The Blue Run. Take a moment to read all about what’s been happening at NLA this week.
It has been an excellent start to the year for both Year 12 & 13. Year 13 have now completed their mock examinations and are working with our subject specialists to secure the best possible grades this summer. It was great to meet so many potential Year 12 applicants at our recent Open Evening, both internal and external. We offer ambitious pathways with a track record of success that leads our
students to the best universities in the country, including Oxbridge. This year we have entered 13 students for early entry to Oxbridge in degrees ranging from Physics and English Literature to Computer Science and Architecture. So don’t miss out on your future. Applications are now open to join us in 2024.
It has been an excellent week here at North Liverpool Academy. Our high flying Chess teams visited Gateacre School for aChess competition with both Team A and B clinching first place. We can’t wait to take part in Children in Need on Fridayevening with a twenty-four hour Just Dance marathon here at NLA.
It has been an excellent start to the term here at North Liverpool Academy. It was great to meet so many prospective Year 12students, both internal and external, at our Sixth Form Open Evening event.
What a great penultimate week of half term it has been. It was lovely to meet so many potential Scholars students during our information evening. It has been heartening to see so many celebrations taking place in lessons for Black History Month, which in the context of our school should be celebrated and championed.
What an excellent week it has been with many experiences taking place to bolster the learning of our students. A quick reminder to parents that for Year 7 2024 applications, you must submit an application via the Local Authority Portal, and then complete our application which can be found on our website before the October 31st deadline. The final step is to book your students’ CAT4 Assessment.
Over the weekend, two of our Chess teams visited Eton College to take part in the Secondary Schools Rapid plays, which was such a valuable experience and a chance for them to compete with the best chess players in the country. A reminder to all potential Year 7 parents and careers that the deadline for applications is October 31st 2023
It has been another excellent week, here at NLA. A particular highlight was meeting so many Year 11 parents and carers forour Year 11 Progress Evening. What a wonderful week it has been. It was lovely to meet so many prospective and current parents during our Year 5and 6 Open Evening this Thursday. Last year we received over 670 applications for 230 places, so please make sure that NLA is entered as your first preference before the deadline of October 31st. Mrs. Vernon
