All our students are eligible to apply for the NLA 6th Form Bursary to access funds to support their studies with us.

Bursary funds are commonly allocated to supplement the purchase of items such as:

Uniform, textbooks, stationary, study equipment, extra-curricular trips and visits, super-curricular activities, qualifications and tuition, travel to university open days and interviews.

Application is quick and easy via an electronic form available from the 6th Form Centre.

In addition to the discretionary bursary applications, 6th Form students enjoy:

1.   Cost of university (UCAS) application paid by school.

2.   Free bus pass for students living greater than 3 miles from school.

3.   Access to the Northern Schools Trust (NST) and University of Liverpool Bursary, worth a total of £6000 on progression to undergraduate study at the University of Liverpool.

North Liverpool Academy 16-19 Bursary Fund

As an NLA Sixth Form student, if you choose the University of Liverpool as your first choice destination, you’ll be awarded a grant of £3,000 per year to support you through your three years of study.
