Curriculum

At North Liverpool Academy, we believe in a comprehensive system that encompasses students across the ability range and from a variety of social backgrounds, cultures, and home languages. Our aim is to improve our students' life chances, creating adults with high aspirations who can be competitive in the world of work and active members of the local community.

Our core values guide us in everything we do.

Aspire

We encourage all students to strive for excellence and set high aspirations for both their school life and future endeavours. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire, equipping students with the necessary tools to succeed. We aim to ensure each student makes progress and achieves the best outcomes, making them competitive for further education or employment. Read more about our Scholars Programme.

Community

Our school is an integral part of the local community. Our facilities are utilised by both students and local residents. We host Christmas dinners for older residents, an annual fireworks display in November, and share resources through careers fairs, sports facilities, and our on-site bike repair shop, Scoot 66.

North Liverpool, renowned for its two Premier League football clubs, offers opportunities through partnerships with both clubs and their Foundations. The area is also experiencing growth in the social enterprise and community sector, with businesses like Homebaked providing advice, opportunities, and guidance to our students.

Experience

Our curriculum extends beyond classroom learning, encompassing a wide variety of enrichment activities. These activities equip students with essential skills such as problem-solving and empathy, fostering their development as global citizens.
