Pavishana Atputhananthan from North Liverpool Academy and Wed Al-Aaloosi from the Life Sciences UTC are currently studying for their A levels at Kingswood School in Bath. They each received a scholarship to attend sixth form at the 250 year old boarding school.

Wed is in the Upper sixth and will take her exams next term. She wants to study medicine and has a firm offer to study at St Andrew’s University. Wed wants to work for Médecins Sans Frontières once she has qualified.

Pav is currently in lower sixth and is currently thinking about her university options. She thinks medicine is a possibility but is enjoying her Psychology A level and that might be her preferred subject at university.

The Northern Schools Trust has arranged scholarships for a number of outstanding students over several years at both Kingswood school and Atlantic College.
