Trip to Greece
The trip dovetails with the GCSE Classical Civilisation syllabus followed by the scholars' NLA. The first day was spent in Athens visiting the Acropolis and ancient Agora. The rest of the trip takes in Delphi and the sanctuary of Apollo, the ancient citadel of Mycenae and the tomb of Agamemnon. We end the tour at the amazing theatre at Epidauros. The students have studied events that took place in all these sites up to 3000 years ago.
